i’m thinking about getting one but i’m confused about what file format it really uses. so if i don’t fiddle with any of the functions and just take a picture.. what file format is that picture in? jpeg or raw? i’m most familiar with JPEG.. i’m not so sure about raw so if it’s RAW is it hard to change it to JPEG? do i do that on the camera or with computer programmes like photoshop?

it showed a program called cnslmain.exe i have heard that this can be a virus sometimes, should i be worried? i run avg free edition should i perform a scan?

I just bought rechargeable batteries for my camera (NiMH Energizer if that’s relevant at all o.O). When I first put them in, my camera would turn on then shut off, so I switched the batteries around and they worked for about 10 minutes with the flashing “low battery” signal, but decided to turn off again. I’d just like to know, what kind of rechargeable batteries would be best, because I certainly do not want to go through a crap load of batteries.

Nothing insanely expensive and professional. Something that fits an SD memory card, good, small, DURABLE, practical, and under $300. Something in that range.
